Set up of vector process includes a templates layer of the scanned ink drawing dimmed to 30%, layer for the vector artwork, and guides for consistent angles and x-height. I primarily use the Pen Tool. Curves are tough for me, usually have to rework many times, but it’s worth the time to get them right. I use as few anchor points as possible to achieve the smoothest curves. Check out @heychae who does fantastic #vector work and offers up great tips on vector #lettering process. #typography
